    [I have kept these terms and conditions straightforward and concise for ease of use.]

    This website is operated by Andy Wightman who can be contacted via email at the Contact page.

    1. Definitions

    "Me or I" means Andy Wightman.

    "You" means the person purchasing the service.

    "Authorised user" means any person authorised by me to use the website.

    "Content" means information and/or data published on my website at www.whoownsscotland.org.uk

    "Website" means www.whoownsscotland.org.uk

    "Product" means anything offered for sale on my website including subscriptions.

    "Service" means all the services that are provided by my website upon purchasing a subscription or any other product.

    "Software" means any software I use to provide the service.

    "Third-party owners" means any owner of software or other content not owned by me including for example the Ordnance Survey, Registers of Scotland and various software providers.

    2. Our Contract

    In exchange for payment for a subscription at the appropriate rate, I agree to provide to you information on who owns Scotland.

    All such information is provided in good faith and is correct as of the currency date to the best of my knowledge and ability.

    I provide no warranty as to the accuracy of this information and it should not be relied upon for any legal or commercial purpose.

    You agree to pay the appropriate subscription for the service provided.

    I agree to provide the service for the entire duration of your subscription subject only to necessary website maintenance and any outages by third-party owners beyond my direct control such as a failure of my webhost or temporary unavailability of, for example, Ordnance Survey mapping.

    The service provided is provided immediately upon receipt of payment and can be obtained by logging into the website using the username and password you created when you made a payment via www.foxy.io.

    By accepting these terms and conditions you accept immediate delivery and and, in doing so, you lose your right to cancel your order within 14 days under Section 36 of the The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

    3. Use of the Website

    Use of the website is restricted to authorised users.

    Only authorised users are allowed to use login credentials. Usernames and passwords shall not be passed onto anyone who is not an authorised user. It is a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990 to obtain, or attempt to obtain, unauthorised access.

    You agree not to publish or distribute any of the content of the website without my prior consent. This does not, however, prevent fair use of the information contained in the website in reports, documents or communications. Where this is done, please credit www.whoownsscotland.org.uk as the source.

     

    4. Jurisdiction

    These terms and conditions shall be governed by the law of Scotland.
